We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Electrical Assembler II to support the assembly, integration, and customization of MQ power generators. In this mid‑level role, you’ll work hands‑on with complex electrical systems—including DCA product modifications and custom configurations—ensuring every generator meets exacting quality, safety, and performance standards.

If you enjoy working from schematics, take pride in high‑quality workmanship, and thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, this role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on reliable, field‑ready power solutions.

What You’ll Do

Electrical Assembly & Integration

  • Assemble, route, and install electrical wiring and components on generator systems, including reconnection boards, terminal blocks, control panels, bus panels, engine DC systems, generator AC systems, and junction boxes.
  • Cut, strip, and terminate wires and cables to specified lengths; crimp terminals and lugs using hand or automated tools.
  • Manufacture, modify, and install custom wiring harnesses to meet product and customer specifications.
  • Install and connect electrical components such as relays, CTs, controllers, circuit breakers, cam‑locks, switches, solenoids, and plugs.
  • Route, secure, and organize wiring using proper techniques (combing, tying, wrapping) to ensure safety, durability, and professional appearance.

Documentation & Technical Interpretation

  • Read and interpret work orders, wiring diagrams, schematics, and specifications to determine proper assembly methods and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Follow detailed work instructions to complete assemblies accurately and efficiently.

Testing & Troubleshooting

  • Perform functional, continuity, and load‑bank testing using electrical test equipment such as ohmmeters and test lights.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, identify root causes, and complete repairs as needed.
  • Verify completed assemblies meet quality standards and are free of defects prior to release.

Collaboration & Safety

  • Coordinate with team members and cross‑functional partners to meet production goals and delivery deadlines.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures and participate in training sessions and team meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of manufacturing operations.

What You Bring

Experience & Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or electrical certification from a vocational program preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of electrical assembly experience, preferably in generator or industrial equipment manufacturing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as electrical testing equipment.

Work Style & Attributes

  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure to meet production deadlines.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as business needs require.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and strong communication skills.
