Role Description The Multimedia Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and editing multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and photography, for internal and external communication channels. Day-to-day tasks include capturing and producing video footage, designing visual assets for digital and print platforms, and retouching and organizing photographic content. The Multimedia Specialist will collaborate with marketing and other teams to translate concepts into visual stories, maintain brand consistency, and prepare content optimized for different platforms. The role also involves managing multimedia equipment, maintaining organized file libraries, and staying current with industry trends and software tools.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Multimedia and Video Production skills for planning, shooting, and editing visual content.
- Candidates should possess Graphics and Graphic Design skills for creating layouts, visual assets, and branded materials.
- Candidates should possess Photography skills for capturing, editing, and managing high-quality images.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, video editing software) is beneficial.
- Relevant education in Multimedia, Design, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Portfolio showcasing previous multimedia, video, graphic, and photography work is highly desirable.
