We're Hiring | Multi-Store Manager – Retail Operations Amadora Gourmet Ice Cream | Chennai / Bangalore
Running one store well is a skill. Running several — without losing your grip on any of them — is something else entirely. That's the person we're looking for.
Amadora Gourmet Ice Cream has been one of South India's most loved artisanal ice cream brands since 2011. We operate across Chennai and Bangalore, with an active expansion underway. As we scale, we need a sharp, grounded operations leader who can hold our stores to a high standard — and build the systems that make that standard self-sustaining.
The Role
As Multi-Store Manager, you will have end-to-end accountability for a cluster of Amadora stores. This is not a desk job. You'll be on the floor, in the numbers, and in the conversation — every day.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Operations & Standards
- Own daily operations across your cluster of stores — opening/closing compliance, staffing, service flow, and cleanliness
- Conduct structured store visits with written observations and follow-through
- Ensure product quality and presentation standards are consistent across every outlet
- Identify and fix operational breakdowns before they become habits
People & Performance
- Hire, onboard, coach, and where necessary, exit store-level staff
- Build a culture of accountability — shift leads and store managers should run their stores, not wait for you to run it for them
- Conduct regular performance reviews and create development plans for high-potential team members
- Reduce attrition by building teams that actually want to stay
Commercial & Financial Accountability
- Track daily sales, waste, and cost metrics across your cluster
- Flag variances and drive corrective action with urgency
- Manage petty cash, vendor coordination, and inventory discipline at the store level
- Own your cluster's P&L contribution — you'll know your numbers cold
Customer Experience & Brand
- Monitor customer feedback across Google Reviews, Swiggy, Zomato, and in-store
- Ensure complaints are resolved quickly and learnings are fed back into operations
- Maintain Amadora's reputation as a premium, detail-obsessed brand at every touchpoint
Reporting & Communication
- Report daily to senior leadership with structured updates — not just "all okay"
- Surface issues early, propose solutions, and follow through on commitments
- Be the connective tissue between the ground and the leadership team
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years in F&B, QSR, or specialty retail operations — with at least 2–3 years managing multiple locations
- A natural operator: you notice what's off before anyone tells you
- Strong people instincts — firm when needed, fair always
- Comfortable with numbers: sales, waste, cost per unit, variance — this should be your language
- Excellent communicator — clear in writing, direct in person
- Chennai or Bangalore based; willingness to travel between cities as needed
- Experience with delivery platforms (Swiggy/Zomato) and basic POS systems is a plus
