Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced MuleSoft Developer to design, develop, and implement robust integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role will focus on driving API-led connectivity, ensuring secure and scalable integrations, particularly within our HRIS landscape (e.g., SuccessFactors), and mentoring development teams.
Job Description: Senior Application Developer – MuleSoft Integration
Experience: 6-8 years
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Design & Development:
* Design and implement end-to-end complex integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, following API-led architecture.
* Develop system, process, and experience APIs with strong understanding of RAML/API definitions.
* Use advanced Anypoint components such as flows, subflows, routers, scatter‑gather, choice, batch processing, error handling framework, and reusable assets.
* Build reusable integration frameworks and follow best practices for Mule application performance and security.
Data Transformation & Mapping:
* Write highly optimized and maintainable DataWeave scripts for data transformations across formats (XML ↔ JSON ↔ Flat files, etc.).
* Ensure mapping logic meets system requirements, integration standards, and performance SLAs.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
* Develop and maintain MUnit test cases with high code coverage.
* Perform integration testing, debugging, and tuning to ensure reliability and stability of integrations.
Platform Expertise:
* Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on CloudHub and Runtime Fabric (RTF).
* Work with Anypoint Platform features such as API Manager, Exchange, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Monitoring.
Enterprise Integration:
* Apply strong knowledge of enterprise application integration (EAI) patterns, orchestration, error handling, and messaging models.
* Integrate with diverse systems, applications, third-party platforms, and data sources.
Support & Operations:
* Provide warranty/hypercare support post-deployment to ensure stability and quick defect resolution.
* Troubleshoot issues across integrations, logs, connectors, and external systems.
Collaboration & Mentorship:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, QA, and DevOps.
* Support and mentor other developers by reviewing code, guiding design decisions, and sharing best practices.
* Participate in requirement discussions, estimations, sprint planning, and technical reviews.
Technical Documentation:
* Prepare detailed technical design documents, low-level design (LLD), integration specifications, mapping documents, and deployment guides.
* Maintain high documentation standards for audit, compliance, and operational readiness.
Good to Have (Optional):
* Experience with IBM WebMethods Integration or other enterprise integration tools.
* Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and API security best practices.
* Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP.

Required Qualifications:
8+ years in integration development, with 5+ years hands-on with MuleSoft.
MuleSoft Certified Developer Level - 1 (MCD Level 1).
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
MCD Level 2 and/or MCIA certification.
Java background.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure relevant to integrations.
