Job Description : Seeking candidates with more than 5 years of experience in Linux engineering, with expertise in supporting technologies such as : Operating Systems : AIX 7.1, AIX 7.3, SLES12 on POWER, SLES15 on POWER Languages : POSIX shell scripting Software : PowerHA System Mirror for AIX Skills : Scripting, automation, configuration management, provisioning, virtualization (PowerVM), Active Directory, system administration, Unix / Linux, server monitoring and migration, high availability clustering, LDAP, and storage migrations OS break / fix support for AIX and SLES virtual machines Break / fix support for PowerVM VIOS Patch management for OS and PowerHA clusters Provisioning of LPARs and VMs Support for Oracle / AIX to HANA / SLES migration Assistance with replatforming from Power8 to Power10 Support for converting SEAs to VNICs In-place upgrade support from AIX 7.1 to AIX 7.3 Support for swing migrations from SLES12 to SLES15 Documentation creation and management Disaster recovery (DR) testing Familiarity with the following Third Party Products desired : Service Manager Centrify Direct Control, Direct Audit, and Direct Authorize Splunk Ansible AWX.
