About the role

MSAD #60 is seeking qualified candidates to apply for Assistant Director of Transportation. Duties include: Supporting the Director of Transportation with: -Forecasting and budgeting for district transportation needs. -Maintaining records and preparing required state and district reports. -Recruiting, supervising, and evaluating personnel to ensure appropriate staffing levels and high quality employees. -Providing ongoing professional development and annual in-service training. -Implementing safety program(s) for drivers. This includes, but is not limited to, investigations of safety related incidents/concerns. -Developing and carrying out student safety education programs. -Planning and implementing of routing systems to assist with the development of bus routes and schedules. -Filling in/substituting for drivers who are out ill Qualifications: -Must have current CDL with bus driver endorsement -Clean driving record -Effective communicator -Flexible thinker and problem solver -Proficient user of technology -Understanding of the educational process and role of transportation in a school district -CHRC and Fingerprinting are REQUIRED.
