Job Description – Cross Functional Disaster Recovery Support (Manager)
Support enterprise-wide Disaster Recovery (DR) operations, ensuring readiness, compliance, and execution of DR strategies across infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms.
Minimum Degree Required
Bachelors
Degree Preferred
B. Tech CS / IT, BCA, BSC (Comp. Science)
Minimum Years Of Experience
7 to 9 Years
Certifications Required
ITIL v4 Foundation; DR/BCP certifications (e.g., CBCP, ISO 22301)
Certifications Preferred
Azure/AWS Cloud Practitioner; Backup vendor certifications
Required / Mandatory Knowledge/Skills
Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, plans, and runbooks for critical systems;
Validate High Availability (HA) and resiliency requirements across infrastructure and applications;
Coordinate and execute DR drills, failover/failback testing, and simulation exercises;
Manage DR documentation including recovery procedures, architecture diagrams, and dependency mappings;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, infra, app, cloud) to ensure DR readiness;
Monitor and report DR readiness metrics including RTO/RPO compliance;
Identify DR gaps, risks, and remediation plans;
Support audits and compliance requirements related to DR and resiliency;
Ensure backup validation and restoration testing processes are in place;
Work with cloud DR solutions (Azure Site Recovery, AWS DR services).
