Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that meet business user needs.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into effective BI solutions.
Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., databases, APIs, cloud services) and design data models to support business needs.
Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Develop and implement interactive visualizations to allow users to explore data and generate insights easily.
Work with data sources like SQL databases, Excel, and cloud-based data services (Azure, AWS) for seamless integration.
Create and manage complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) calculations for custom metrics and KPIs.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure optimized data pipelines for reporting and analytics.
Troubleshoot and provide support for existing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Stay up to date with Power BI features and recommend best practices and new approaches to enhance BI solutions.
Provide training and support to business users on how to effectively use Power BI for self-service analytics.
Ensure data security and governance policies are followed, including managing user access and permissions.
