About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Content Marketing to shape and execute our content strategy, enhancing our brand presence across both digital and traditional platforms. This role will be essential in amplifying MrMed's voice, driving brand outreach, managing PR activities, fostering strategic partnerships, and coordinating digital collaborations, including podcasts. The ideal candidate will possess creativity, strategic foresight, and strong communication skills, with the added advantage of a medical or pharma background. The content handled in this role will be primarily medical in nature.


Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO and medical content strategy aligned with MrMed's business goals and brand identity.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, medically accurate content across multiple platforms, including website, blog, social media, and newsletters.
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice and messaging across all communication channels, with a focus on medical accuracy and relevance.

Brand Outreach & Reputation Building

  • Lead brand outreach initiatives and manage reputation-building efforts to enhance MrMed's public image.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute impactful brand campaigns.
  • Identify and pursue innovative opportunities for brand visibility through partnerships and collaborations.

Partnerships & PR Activities

  • Build and nurture relationships with media, influencers, and strategic partners to amplify brand presence.
  • Plan and manage PR campaigns, including press releases, media kits, and public statements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for media interactions, interviews, and key communications.

Digital Collaborations

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of digital collaborations, ensuring alignment with the brand’s strategy and target audience.
  • Oversee relationships with podcast hosts, producers, and other digital media platforms to extend MrMed’s reach.
  • Track performance and report on the impact of podcast and digital media campaigns.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of medical content creators and communication specialists.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and digital teams to integrate content strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Analyze content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies to optimize reach and engagement.


Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in content creation, communications, or public relations, ideally within the healthcare, pharma, or digital sectors.
  • Prior experience working with or managing medical content writers will boost you to the top of our list! 
  • A medical or pharma background is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in leading content and communications strategies, with measurable outcomes in brand outreach and reputation management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to forge strategic relationships.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Experience in podcast production or coordination is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
