Role Description The MRI Technician is responsible for performing MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety. Day-to-day tasks include preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and monitoring them throughout the scan. The role also involves operating and maintaining MRI equipment, adhering to radiation safety and infection control standards, and accurately documenting procedures and patient information. The MRI Technician will collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to support timely diagnosis and effective patient care. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Karauli Diagnostics in Varanasi.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills and credentials related to a Bachelor's in Radiology or equivalent professional radiologic certification as applicable.
- Candidates should possess skills in Radiology and Medical Imaging, with a strong understanding of imaging procedures, safety protocols, and diagnostic workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Radiologic Technology and MRI operation, including equipment handling, image optimization, and routine maintenance checks.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Medicine, particularly human anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to MRI diagnostics.
- Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or Medical Imaging from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience as an MRI Technician or in a similar radiology role in a hospital or diagnostics center.
- Strong attention to detail, patient-focused approach, and ability to follow safety and quality standards consistently.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
