Do long to be a part of a team that makes a difference in the lives of our customers by knowing you have done the job right the first time?</strong> </div><div> </div><div>Mr. Appliance of Macon is looking for experienced appliance repair technicians who want to be part of a growing team and take the stress out of our customer’s lives that is caused by a broken appliance. </div><div> </div><div>This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, have a strong desire to strive to perfect your skills and appliance repair knowledge, have a knack for troubleshooting, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.</div><div> </div><div>As an Appliance Repair Technician with Mr. Appliance, you are a valued member of our team by providing excellent customer service to our customers and using your appliance repair expertise. A broken appliance can disrupt a family’s life – you can be a superhero by getting their appliance working again.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Specific Responsibilities</strong></div><ul>
<li>Accurately diagnoses and repair appliances/equipment in the customer’s home or business</li>
<li>Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment for work performed using our state-of-the art mobile app</li>
<li>Complete invoices and provide detailed notes at the conclusion of each service visit</li>
<li>Ensure efficient use of company’s vehicle and equipment</li>
<li>Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions</li>
</ul><div><strong>Job Requirements</strong></div><div> </div><ul>
<li>High school graduate or equivalent</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record</li>
<li>Ability to pass a background and drug test</li>
<li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>
<li>Must have experience in home appliances and customer service</li>
<li>Ability to navigate tablet-based technology</li>
<li>Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on occasion without assistance</li>
<li>Ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances including: lifting, stooping, reaching, standing, reaching with hands and arms, kneeling, crouching, crawling and climbing or balancing.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with customers and team members</li>
<li>Previous experience of one year or more in appliance repair is a plus!</li>

<li>An understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.</li>
<li>Problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.</li>
<li>Skilled in reading and understanding schematics and wiring diagrams</li>
