Job Description

The senior Rotoanim artist is responsible for doing high quality complex shots in Rotoanim. They are tasked primarily to deliver shot-based work and will be working closely with their Lead within the department to ensure their work is quality controlled and delivered based on the production schedule.

• Perform full body tight RA shots, including facial tracks and soft deformations.
• Track various objects, vehicles, and character faces using 3DE tracking tools.
• Understand Matchmove cameras and their impact on Rotoanim.
• Analyze rigs and be familiar with camera terminologies and working with witness cameras
• Attend daily sessions.
• Conduct comprehensive tech checks and self-QC, ensuring all aspects meet task briefs and department standards.
• Timely execution and delivery of tasks on schedule and with expected quality
• Maintain clear communication with Leads/peers, promptly flagging any production delays or concerns.
