Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, as needed.
- Review and document patient medical histories.
- Ensure all required consent forms are properly completed and signed.
- Prepare and process patient prescriptions with accuracy.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, EKG, and pulse oximetry.
- Accurately document anesthesia records and patient charting.
- Maintain patient airways during sedation and perform suctioning when necessary.
- Provide post-operative monitoring and remain with patients until released to a caregiver.
- Prepare and sanitize surgical and examination rooms.
- Assist with ongoing surgical procedures as needed.
- Uphold strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support overall clinic operations by maintaining patient flow and completing additional duties assigned by the Clinical Manager.
