Requirements

Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Director of Oncology, Wound Care & Outpatient Infusion, the Outpatient Services Nurse provides nursing care to patients in the Outpatient Services department and in other departments as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have current Arizona Registered Nurses or Compact State License
• Maintain current CPR Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) required or other approved educational programs.
• Maintains current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs within six months (6) months of hire.
• Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
• Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
• Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of full-time nursing experience in a hospital setting or equivalent.
• Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
• Previous experience with wound care.
• Conservative Sharp Debridement Certificate
