We are seeking an experienced Moulding Machine Operator with extensive hands-on experience operating Vertical Automatic Injection Moulding Machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient machine operation, maintaining high product quality, minimizing downtime, and supporting production targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor Vertical Automatic Injection Moulding Machines.
- Perform machine start-up, changeovers, and shutdown procedures.
- Adjust machine parameters to achieve optimal cycle times and consistent product quality.
- Inspect moulded components to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications..
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Extensive experience operating Vertical Automatic Injection Moulding Machines.
- Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes, machine settings, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with machine setup, mould changes, and process optimisation.
- Ability to read and follow production instructions, work orders, and quality specifications.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and manufacturing best practices.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
