Role Description The Motorcycle Mechanic role at Urban Motocade is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The mechanic will perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of motorcycles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting bikes, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, carrying out servicing, replacing parts, and performing test rides to verify repair quality. The role also involves supporting customization and performance upgrades, maintaining workshop tools and equipment, and keeping accurate service records. The mechanic will interact directly with customers, explain technical issues in clear terms, and contribute to a high standard of customer satisfaction in a community-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Vehicle Maintenance and hands-on experience working with various types of Bikes.
- Effective Communication skills to explain diagnoses, repair options, and maintenance recommendations to customers.
- Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term rider relationships.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in automobile/motorcycle mechanics; diploma or ITI in related fields preferred.
- Experience using diagnostic tools, service manuals, and modern workshop equipment, with attention to safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment, manage multiple service tasks, and collaborate with the team.
- Prior experience as a motorcycle mechanic or technician in a service center or performance workshop is highly beneficial.
