Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ranchi for a Motor Rewinding Engineer. The responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing high-tension motors, DC motors, transformers, and lifting magnets. The Engineer will also be responsible for rewinding and overhauling equipment, manufacturing stator coils, and ensuring the performance and efficiency of various electrical components. Additional duties may include conducting diagnostic tests, maintaining equipment documentation, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in motor rewinding, overhauling, and repair of electrical equipment such as H.T. motors, D.C. motors, lifting magnets, and transformers
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, stator coil manufacturing, and Roebel coil production
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and testing skills for electrical equipment and components
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols for handling high-voltage electrical machinery
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
- Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role in the electric repair/manufacturing industry is an advantage
