About the Role
We are looking for a Motion Graphic Designer who can create fast-paced, visually engaging short-form videos for platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. The role focuses on creating motion graphics that capture attention within the first few seconds and keep viewers engaged throughout the video.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and animate motion graphics for short-form vertical videos (10–60 seconds).
- Create dynamic text animations, transitions, and visual effects suited for high-retention content.
- Edit and animate videos optimized for vertical formats (9:16).
- Work closely with scriptwriters and editors to translate ideas into compelling visuals.
- Use motion design to highlight key points, statistics, or storytelling beats.
- Maintain a consistent visual style across videos.
- Deliver videos quickly while maintaining high visual quality.
Requirements
- Strong experience in motion graphics and short-form video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good understanding of pacing, rhythm, and retention-focused editing.
- Ability to create engaging typography animations and graphic overlays.
- Experience working with vertical video formats and social media content.
- Understanding of viral content structure and audience attention patterns.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with viral or high-performing short-form content.
- Knowledge of sound design and quick-cut editing techniques.
- Familiarity with motion templates and reusable animation systems.
- Basic understanding of design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Figma.
