Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Motion Graphic Designer role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Motion Graphic Designer will conceptualize, design, and animate motion graphics for digital campaigns, brand identity assets, social media content, and promotional videos. Responsibilities include collaborating with graphic designers and art directors to translate storyboards and briefs into visually compelling animations, titles, transitions, and explainer content. The role involves editing and optimizing video and motion assets for various platforms, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and project objectives. The Motion Graphic Designer will also participate in brainstorming sessions, manage project timelines, prepare files for handoff, and iterate on feedback to refine designs.
Qualifications
- Strong motion-focused skills, including Motion Design and Motion Graphics, with a portfolio demonstrating animated content across different formats.
- Experience in Video Production, including basic editing, compositing, and preparing video assets for digital platforms.
- Proficiency in Graphic Design and Graphics, with the ability to create layouts, visual assets, and illustrations aligned with brand guidelines.
- Hands-on expertise with industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent software).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, develop storyboards, and present motion concepts clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Relevant education or training in design, animation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience creating content for social media, advertising, or branding projects; familiarity with current design and motion trends is an advantage.
