As content consumption continues to evolve, motion and visual storytelling have become central to how brands communicate. We are looking for a Motion Designer who understands not just animation, but modern digital culture, pacing, storytelling, and visually engaging content creation across multiple formats and platforms.
This role goes beyond traditional motion graphics. We are looking for someone who can think creatively, work with evolving AI tools, understand internet-first content styles, and contribute to visually elevated digital communication.
Role Overview
As a Motion Designer at Tysh, you will be responsible for creating engaging motion-based content for brands across social media, campaigns, advertisements, websites, launches, presentations, and digital platforms.
Your role will involve combining motion design, animation, AI-assisted creative workflows, and basic video editing to create visually compelling outputs that align with modern content consumption trends. You will work closely with strategists, designers, editors, and content teams to transform concepts into dynamic visual experiences.
We are looking for someone who understands rhythm, pacing, storytelling, transitions, typography in motion, composition, and how visuals emotionally connect with audiences. The ideal candidate should also be actively exploring AI-driven creative tools and adapting them into modern workflows to improve creative execution and innovation.
This position requires both technical capability and strong creative taste.
Key Responsibilities
Motion Graphics & Animation
- Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for digital campaigns, advertisements, reels, websites, and brand communication
- Design visually engaging animated content aligned with brand aesthetics and campaign goals
- Animate typography, layouts, logos, UI elements, product visuals, and graphic assets
- Develop visually refined transitions, effects, and storytelling sequences
Social Media & Digital Content
- Create motion-based content optimized for Instagram, Meta Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms
- Understand platform-first content styles, pacing, hooks, and engagement-focused editing
- Work on reels, promotional videos, launch campaigns, teasers, and social content
- Adapt designs into motion while maintaining visual consistency and quality
AI-Assisted Creative Workflows
- Use AI tools to support and enhance creative production workflows
- Explore AI-generated visuals, motion references, visual experimentation, and concept development
- Understand how to integrate AI tools into modern content creation pipelines efficiently
- Stay updated with emerging AI trends in motion design, content, and visual storytelling
Video Editing Support
- Perform basic to intermediate video editing for reels, social content, and campaign videos
- Edit footage with strong pacing, transitions, music synchronization, and storytelling structure
- Assist with visual cleanups, overlays, subtitles, motion typography, and short-form edits
- Work collaboratively with video editors and creative teams during campaign execution
Creative Collaboration
- Collaborate with designers, strategists, content writers, and editors to execute creative ideas
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute motion-first creative concepts
- Help shape the visual language and storytelling direction for campaigns
- Translate static visual concepts into dynamic motion experiences
Quality & Execution
- Ensure all motion deliverables are visually polished, technically optimized, and aligned with brand identity
- Maintain organized project files and workflow systems
- Deliver projects within timelines while maintaining creative quality
- Adapt quickly to feedback and evolving project requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Motion Design Skills
- Strong understanding of motion graphics, animation principles, visual rhythm, pacing, and transitions
- Ability to create visually engaging and modern motion-based content
- Strong understanding of composition, typography in motion, and visual storytelling
- Understanding of cinematic pacing and internet-first visual communication styles
Software Proficiency
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Familiarity with Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D software is an added advantage
- Knowledge of sound synchronization and motion timing is preferred
AI & Creative Technology
- Familiarity with AI-based creative tools and workflows
- Understanding of AI-assisted visual generation, motion experimentation, and content enhancement
- Curiosity toward evolving technologies, digital trends, and creative innovation
- Ability to integrate AI thoughtfully into creative execution rather than relying on templates alone
Video Editing Skills
- Basic to intermediate video editing capabilities
- Understanding of reels, short-form editing, transitions, music syncing, and social content pacing
- Ability to work with raw footage and transform it into polished content
Professional Skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced creative environment
- Strong visual taste and understanding of modern design culture
Experience Requirements
- 2–3 years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or video-focused creative roles
- Experience working in creative agencies, branding studios, media agencies, or content-focused environments is preferred
- Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation, reels, campaign videos, and digital content
- Experience working on brand-focused and social-first content is highly preferred
