About Talk & Target
Talk & Target is a creator-first marketing and creative agency focused on building brands through social content, influencer marketing, digital storytelling and culture-led creative thinking.
We believe great creative isn't just about making things look good — it is about understanding what people will stop for, watch, share and remember.
We are constantly experimenting with new formats, technologies and creative workflows, and AI is becoming an integral part of how we ideate, create and execute content.
That's where you come in.
The Role
We are looking for a Motion Designer – AI & Creative who combines strong motion-design fundamentals with a genuine curiosity for AI, emerging creative technologies and social-first content.
You should be someone who can take an idea from a rough thought or brief and turn it into a visually compelling piece of content — from concept → storyboard → design → animation → sound → final execution.
We are not looking for someone who simply knows how to use AI tools.
We are looking for a strong motion designer who knows how to use AI to push creative boundaries, work faster and create things that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to execute.
What You'll Do
Motion Design & Animation
- Create engaging motion graphics, animations, reels, social films and digital content.
- Develop animations using strong principles of timing, pacing, transitions, typography and visual hierarchy.
- Bring static designs, concepts and campaign ideas to life through motion.
- Create visually strong content that is designed specifically for social media and digital platforms.
- Experiment with different animation styles, visual treatments and formats.
AI-Driven Creative Production
- Integrate AI tools into your everyday creative workflow to improve ideation, experimentation, production and execution.
- Use AI for visual generation, image-to-video, text-to-video, animation, compositing, asset creation and creative exploration.
- Explore emerging AI tools and identify where they can genuinely improve the creative output or production process.
- Combine traditional motion-design skills with AI-generated assets to create polished, original work.
- Build faster and more efficient creative workflows using AI without compromising on quality.
Creative & Visual Storytelling
- Translate briefs and ideas into strong visual narratives.
- Participate in brainstorming and contribute creative ideas beyond execution.
- Develop visual concepts, references, moodboards and storyboards when required.
- Understand how typography, composition, colour, pacing, sound and movement work together.
- Adapt creative ideas to different brands, audiences, platforms and content formats.
Sound & Finishing
- Use SFX, sound design and music effectively to enhance motion content.
- Understand how sound can influence pacing, emotion and storytelling.
- Handle basic compositing, editing and finishing to deliver polished final outputs.
Trends & Experimentation
- Stay updated with the latest motion design, AI, social media and visual trends.
- Identify trends that are relevant to brands and translate them into original creative executions rather than simply copying them.
- Constantly experiment with new tools, techniques, workflows and visual styles.
- Bring new references, ideas and creative possibilities to the team.
What We're Looking For
You should have:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in motion design, animation or a similar creative role.
- Strong understanding of motion principles, animation, transitions, typography and visual storytelling.
- Strong visual sense with an eye for composition, aesthetics, pacing and detail.
- Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms.
- Good understanding of SFX, sound design and music selection.
- Practical experience using AI tools as part of the creative process.
- Curiosity to continuously learn and experiment with emerging AI and creative technologies.
- Ability to take a project from concept to final execution.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with creative, strategy, influencer and account teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within deadlines.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong motion work and creative thinking.
Tools & Skills
Strong proficiency in relevant motion/design tools such as:
- After Effects
- Premiere Pro
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Cinema 4D / Blender or other 3D tools — good to have
- Figma — good to have
Experience with AI tools for creative production is highly preferred, particularly tools related to:
- AI image generation
- AI video generation
- Image-to-video
- Text-to-video
- AI-assisted animation
- AI compositing / editing
- AI ideation and visual exploration
You don't need to know every AI tool. We care more about how creatively and intelligently you use them.
What Will Make You Stand Out
We'd love to meet you if you:
- Think like a creative, not just an executor.
- Can explain why a visual or animation works, not just how you made it.
- Experiment with AI because you're genuinely curious about what it can do.
- Have created something unconventional using AI + motion.
- Understand internet culture, social content and what makes people stop scrolling.
- Can take a simple idea and turn it into something visually unexpected.
- Have a strong personal creative point of view.
- Are constantly saving references, trying new tools and asking, "What if we did it differently?"
What You Can Expect at Talk & Target
- Work on a wide range of brands, categories and creative challenges.
- Exposure to creator-led content, social-first campaigns and digital storytelling.
- The opportunity to work at the intersection of motion design, AI and advertising.
- Freedom to experiment with new tools and creative approaches.
- A fast-paced environment where ideas can move from concept to execution quickly.
- A culture that values skills, ownership and ideas over hierarchy and titles.
The Ideal Candidate
Strong motion designer.
Creative thinker.
AI enthusiast.
Internet-aware.
Experimenter.
If you are someone who gets excited about discovering a new AI tool, immediately thinks of five ways to use it creatively, and still knows that good design, storytelling and motion fundamentals come first — we'd love to hear from you.
