Role Description The Mortgage Title Examiner is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. This role is responsible for reviewing and analyzing property titles, legal documents, and public records to identify ownership history, liens, encumbrances, and any issues affecting clear title. The Mortgage Title Examiner prepares accurate title reports and summaries, verifies legal descriptions, and ensures compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include working closely with internal teams, responding to queries, resolving title defects, and maintaining detailed documentation and database records. The role requires consistent attention to detail, timely completion of assignments, and effective communication with stakeholders to support smooth mortgage and settlement processes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in title examination, review of legal documents, and analysis of property records.
- Ability to research public records, assess liens and encumbrances, and identify title defects.
- Proficiency in using title and mortgage industry software, document management systems, and basic office tools.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and strong organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of mortgage processes, real estate terminology, and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Prior experience in title examination, mortgage operations, or real estate documentation is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Law, Commerce, Business, or Real Estate) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South and manage full-time responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
