About the role
The Software Engineer on the Equity Investments and Client Activities team at Parametric is a hands-on contributor who plays a critical role in building tools to support portfolio management and culture of data-driven enhancements to our process.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
- Understand existing legacy data flow process for multiple systems, then leverage that knowledge to propose, develop and implement an optimized data flow pipeline using Python.
- Using in-flight and existing data sets / data lake, develop required transformational & curated data sets which can be used for more than one data pipeline.
- Infuse creativity in creating and reducing manual ways of data reconciliation by developing reconciliation ETL model Increase efficiencies and reduce manual processes by Developing an ETL model for data reconciliation.
- Think outside the box to design and develop complex dashboards.
- Create quick reporting dashboards in Tableau/ Power BI for senior leaders in Operations.
- Replace manual reporting process in Excel and use available data sets to enrich existing reports.
- Identify different techniques available for data enrichments.
- Leverage a deep understanding of operations data in all aspect of work.
