About the role
We're seeking someone to join our team as a Business Analyst in Wealth Management Operations to support the delivery of the change efforts led by the department in a dynamic environment and taking the lead on items as assigned. The individual will work closely with other team members, stakeholders, and management to elicit and document requirements, interface with technology teams on deliverables, and perform aspects of project management as required by the PMO or team leader.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position level position within the Change, Analytics & Strategy, which is responsible for developing operating and technology strategies, managing, and executing transformation initiatives, leading Agile fleet activities, driving innovation, developing analytics solutions, and delivering business outcomes.

What you'll do in the role:
Drive the completion and delivery of assigned items, working independently or part of a team as required.
Lead simple working sessions & discovery with internal teams and stakeholders to understand and document the business requirements.
Capture the detailed level of requirements in epics and user stories.
Using review sessions, research, and SME feedback to update requirements until agreed with stakeholders and confirmed into the development cycle.
Support senior team members to drive closure on specific items, build consensus and promptly close out business decisions, or deliver smaller assigned items.
Working knowledge of testing and the ability to write test plans, test cases and perform testing of deliverables.
As requested, conduct project status meetings, document meeting agenda and minutes and provide project status reports to the program lead & PMO.
Establish project plans and follow up on action item.
Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team.
Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements.
Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution.

Ability to establish clear goals and priorities and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision.
Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests

BA/BS in business, management, engineering, or related field
Understand Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile & Hybrid approaches.
1-3 years of business analysis experience in brokerage or related field is required.
Experience in testing is preferred – SIT, UAT and Regression.
Working knowledge of data tools, extraction and data analysis preferred
Proven teamwork skills to deliver on-time product and project results.
Analytical thinker, with excellent written and verbal communication
Demonstrate ownership and sense of urgency in resolving issues.
Technical experience with financial systems and workflows is preferred.
Project management and business analysis certifications are preferred.
