Associate - Market Risk Data Team (Firm Risk Management)

The primary responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following: • Participate in various data-related strategic programs targeting BCBS 239 implementation across the Firm (e.g. Risk Data Catalog, Risk Data Aggregation, Data Lineage, etc.) • Deliver high quality management information to support senior stakeholders across the Firm in discussions and in the decision-making process for data-related projects • Support firmwide data strategy efforts and represent the interest of the Market Risk Department • Interface and manage relationships with internal stakeholders within the wider Risk Management Division, the Technology Division and the Front Office You ideally have: • University or College degree in any data related field, statistics or business management • Basic understanding of financial markets, risk management concepts and models and financial products • Ability to work independently, proactively and taking ownership • Strong project and stakeholder management skills • Strong strategic and critical thinking • Strong risk and control mindset • Attention to detail and prioritization skills will be key in balancing daily deadlines with timely implementation of strategic projects • Proficient in written and verbal communication (in English) • Basic familiarity with handling and analyzing large datasets is favorable on at least one platform such as Excel, MatLab, R, Python, VBA or SQL
