Front End Developer (User Interface, ReactJS)

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior UI Engineer/Developer to design and develop user-centric interfaces for web and mobile applications. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless digital experiences that align with project goals and delight users. This is for permanent employment with our client - a multinational information technology services and consulting firm. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms. Translate project requirements into functional UI components in collaboration with design and development teams. Implement visually appealing and interactive elements such as buttons, forms, and menus using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Ensure responsiveness and cross-platform compatibility across a wide range of devices and browsers. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on UI improvements. Work alongside back-end developers and designers to enhance functionality and user experience. Gather and act on feedback from users, clients, and internal teams to drive continuous UI improvement. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design and development. Contribute to mobile-first design strategies and implementation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent. With a minimum 8 years of hands-on UI engineering role. Expert-level proficiency in ReactJS (version <16.8.0), React Hooks, Redux, Redux middleware, unit testing frameworks, ES6, HTML, CSS (including preprocessors), Webpack, CI/CD pipelines, Spinnaker, and MongoDB. Strong foundation in core web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Proven experience in writing and maintaining unit tests. Familiarity with templating languages like Handlebars and JSX. Clear and confident communicator, capable of articulating technical challenges and solutions effectively. Self-driven with a strong desire to learn and adapt to evolving technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Comfortable communicating via various channels including email, chat, and meetings.
