Morgan Auto Group has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Used Car Acquisition!
The Used Car acquisition agent plays an important role in keeping adequate inventory of used vehicles at our dealership lot!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
You will work closely with the Used Car Director to meet the supply goals and demands to keep inventory supplied. You will need to identify vehicles in the market to purchase from a variety of avenues based on our specific buy plan. This will include the need to source vehicles digitally and locally. Setting up transportation and maintaining accurate logs and tracking of units bought is also required. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record with Used vehicle acquisitions, Vauto, Manheim, Adesa, and OVE. We are looking for someone who has the know how and ability to follow our buying plan and fill weak spots in our inventory. It will require extensive knowledge in all aspects of purchasing units and buying the right vehicles for our store. You will be reporting directly to our Used Car Director with weekly follow ups to see the progress you have made and a game plan for the following week. Be Prepared in the interview to demonstrate your expertise in various systems for purchasing vehicles.
- Purchasing or procurement experience required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- Vauto and Stockwave experience required.
- Experience and familiarity with a variety of automobiles is needed.
- Strong data analytics.
- Critical thinking skills required.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent driving record.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Friendly, positive attitude and be a team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate to Advanced computer skills.
