</div><div>Position Overview<br><br>
</div><div>We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced <strong>Part-Time HR Generalist</strong> to manage all core human resources functions. This role will be responsible for recruiting support, payroll administration, employee relations, and the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.<br><br>
</div><div>This is an <strong>in-office role</strong> and is ideal for a self-starter who is comfortable working independently and building HR processes within a small organization.<br><br>
</div><div>Key Responsibilities<br><br>
</div><div>
<strong>Recruitment & Hiring<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Review and screen resumes and applications<br><br>
</li>
<li>Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interviews<br><br>
</li>
<li>Manage background checks and pre-employment processes<br><br>
</li>
<li>Assist with onboarding and new hire documentation<br><br>
</li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Payroll & Benefits Administration<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Process and manage payroll accurately and on schedule<br><br>
</li>
<li>Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable laws<br><br>
</li>
<li>Administer employee benefits, including PTO tracking and 401(k) coordination<br><br>
</li>
<li>Serve as point of contact for payroll and benefits-related questions<br><br>
</li>
</ul><div>
<strong>HR Policies & Compliance<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Develop, implement, and maintain employee handbook and HR policies<br><br>
</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with federal, state (Maryland), and local employment laws<br><br>
</li>
<li>Maintain employee records and HR documentation<br><br>
</li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Employee Relations<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Serve as a resource for employee questions and HR-related concerns<br><br>
</li>
<li>Assist with performance management and disciplinary processes<br><br>
</li>
<li>Help foster a positive and professional workplace culture<br><br>
</li>
</ul><div>Qualifications<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>3+ years of HR experience (Generalist experience preferred)<br><br>
</li>
<li>Experience processing payroll required<br><br>
</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws<br><br>
</li>
<li>Experience developing HR policies and procedures preferred<br><br>
</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and communication skills<br><br>
</li>
<li>Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion<br><br>
</li>
<li>Comfortable working independently in a small office environment<br><br>
</li>
