Founders Associate (Moonfare & 7 Global Capital)


We're looking for a highly driven, articulate, and strategic right hand to support the founder across a wide range of operational and strategic initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes access to two high-growth firms at the intersection of fintech and venture capital.


You’ll act as a strategic assistant and execution partner to the founder. Your work will span both Moonfare and 7GC and will evolve dynamically, based on current priorities.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Inbox and calendar support: Help manage CEO’s day-to-day communications, including triaging emails, drafting responses, and coordinating meetings.
  • LinkedIn outreach and coordination: Prepare and execute personalized outreach to high-value individuals and partners.
  • Research and insight generation: Conduct quick-turnaround market research, landscape analysis, and briefings on potential partners, investors, or competitors.
  • Presentation & document support: Draft, polish, and update internal and external materials, memos, or presentations.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Liaise with teams across Moonfare and 7GC to follow up on action items, ensure deadlines are met, and push projects forward.
  • Founder support: Act as a trusted extension of Steffen’s office, contributing strategic input where needed while taking care of the operational details.


What You Bring:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier university
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, VC/PE, or a fast-paced startup
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you are articulate, clear, and persuasive
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize under pressure
  • A curious, thoughtful mindset and a bias toward action
  • A global outlook and an international background; experience across different geographies is a plus
  • Humility, discretion, and a collaborative spirit — you are happy to roll up your sleeves
