About the role
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Mool, you will be a technical anchor to support the engineering team (primarily all backend efforts) that is building the Mool app. You will create, take ownership of, and should be capable of building the feature architecture entirely on your own. Responsibilities
Lead development of scalable, secure software using Go.Act as an individual contributor with the ability to take ownership.Make architectural decisions aligned with company goals.Integrate AI technologies for enhanced product features.Ensure compliance with fintech regulations and standards.Collaborate cross-functionally with product management and QA.Design resilient backend systems for high transaction volumes.Implement features for payment processing and risk management.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
Requirements
B Tech in Computer Science from premier institutes or relevant experience.3+ years of strong experience in backend software development.Solid understanding of Golang.Exposure to GCP technologies like BigQuery & Kubernetes.Highly experienced with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.Expected to have a good understanding of security practices for financial systems.Have experience in writing Units and E2E test cases.Experience with integrating banking APIs (nice to have).
