Monzo Bank, a leading UK digital bank on a mission to make money work for everyone, is seeking a customer-centric and commercially minded Senior Product Manager to lead and grow its Cross Border Payments business within the Global Payments team, helping millions of customers send and receive money internationally with speed, simplicity, and security; based in London or remotely within the UK, with a salary of £95,000–£115,000 plus benefits, stock options, visa sponsorship, and relocation support, this full-time role involves owning the P&L for cross-border payments, identifying growth opportunities across retail and business segments, deeply understanding target audiences to create winning strategies, leading a multidisciplinary squad of engineers, data scientists, and designers, negotiating and managing external partnerships to improve customer experience and unit economics, using data-driven insights to prioritise high-value investments in pricing, partner selection, and product enhancements, partnering with marketing to boost adoption through CRM, referrals, SEO, and above-the-line campaigns, collaborating with growth, anti-fraud, and financial crime teams to scale securely, and delivering trajectory-changing projects aligned with Monzo's goal to grow from 11 to 20 million customers; the role demands a founder mindset, resilience to challenge the status quo, strong stakeholder management, persuasive communication, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity, with bonus points for experience in payments, FX, or international expansion
