Role Summary:
As a Principal Product Manager (Product-Led Growth), you will spearhead initiatives to drive customer acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion for MSPs using our platform. You will define and execute PLG strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure our product delivers measurable business outcomes for MSPs. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, deep MSP/cloud expertise, and hands-on execution to position MontyCloud as the go-to platform for MSP transformation.
Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
MSP-Centric Product Strategy:
Define and execute a PLG strategy tailored to MSP challenges (e.g., cost optimization, compliance).
Prioritize a roadmap that enhances MSP lifecycle value—from prospecting to Day-2 operations.
Create detailed product specs, user stories, and wireframes (hands-on work expected)
Data-Driven Growth:
Establish KPIs (e.g., deal win rates, retention) and leverage tools like Amplitude/Mixpanel for optimization.
Run growth experiments to improve MSP adoption and scalability.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align product strategies with MSP goals.
Mentor junior PMs and evangelize PLG best practices.
Customer & Market Focus:
Engage with MSPs to understand pain points and design solutions that drive revenue/margin growth.
Ensure the product delivers tangible outcomes (e.g., operational efficiency, customer satisfaction).
Desired Skills & Requirements:
Must-Have:
Experience: 10+ years in B2B SaaS product management, with a focus on PLG or growth strategies.
Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of MSP operations, cloud management (AWS/Azure/GCP), and SaaS platforms.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in product analytics, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making.
Execution: Proven ability to ship features that impact acquisition, retention, or expansion metrics.
Leadership: Strong cross-functional collaboration and mentorship skills.
Good-to-Have:
Experience scaling MSP-focused SaaS products.
Familiarity with MSP business models (pricing, revenue streams).
MBA or advanced degree in Business/Technology.
Experience:
10+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a focus on driving growth and customer outcomes.
Education Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.
