Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Monitoring & Measuring Evaluation (MME) role based in Hubli - (Koppal/Gadag). The role involves designing and implementing monitoring frameworks to track program activities and outcomes across Pratham’s education initiatives. The MME team member will collect, validate, and analyze data from the field, prepare regular reports, and generate insights to inform program decisions. The role includes coordinating with program teams, providing feedback on data quality, and supporting capacity-building for staff on monitoring tools and processes. The person in this position will also assist in designing surveys and research instruments, supporting evaluations, and documenting best practices and learnings.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret quantitative and qualitative data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with system monitoring, including setting up indicators, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records.
- Effective communication skills to present findings clearly, write concise reports, and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Customer service orientation to respond to information requests from field teams, support troubleshooting of data issues, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Research skills to contribute to survey design, data collection tools, field studies, and evaluation activities.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in education, economics, statistics, social sciences, public policy, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic data analysis tools; familiarity with statistical or data visualization software is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Koppal/Gadag, conduct periodic field visits, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Prior experience in monitoring and evaluation or impact assessment in the social sector, especially education, is preferred.
