About the role

We're seeking... We seek motivated and talented students to help us build the next-generation developer database platform. As an intern, you will work directly with MongoDB’s product managers, software engineers, and various teams within the larger R&D org including marketing, UX design, and analytics. You will be fully integrated into the team, understanding and analyzing users’ needs and pain points, and advocating on their behalf to improve the product. You will synthesize various data sources, and discuss technical solutions and tradeoffs with engineers and designers to create new product requirements and experiences. You will also refine and communicate the product strategy to relevant stakeholders. What we are looking for in you... In the process of receiving a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related field  Technical skills; while not expected to write production code, you should be comfortable diving into design and code logic, learning from existing examples, exploring APIs, triaging bugs, analyzing support cases, and speaking on any of the technical aspects of the tools in your portfolio Communication skills, both verbal and written Curious and have a desire to learn and adapt; you are a self-starter and thrive in ambiguity Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes. Graduation date in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Company sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates applying for certain roles.
