🚀 We’re Hiring | MongoDB Database Administrator
📍 Location: Bangalore (Onsite)

Deepspatial (CSE: DSAI | OTCQB: DSAIF) is expanding its technology team, and we’re looking for a passionate Junior Database Administrator to join us in Bangalore!

🔍 About the Role
As a Junior DBA, you will work closely with our engineering and data teams to manage, optimize, and secure our database environments. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to production systems while contributing to scalable and high-availability architectures.
✅ Must-Have Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB Administration (mandatory) – installation, configuration, backups, monitoring, performance tuning, and scaling
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server administration
• Experience in database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of indexing strategies, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Experience with replication, clustering, sharding, and horizontal scaling (MongoDB & SQL)
• Expertise in backup & recovery, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability setups
• Solid understanding of database security, access management, roles, permissions, and audit controls
⭐ Preferred Skills
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas, AWS RDS, or Azure SQL
• Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and database best practices
• Familiarity with scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell) for automation and monitoring
• Experience integrating databases with web and cloud-based applications
🛠 Key Responsibilities
• Monitor database health, performance, and capacity utilization
• Troubleshoot slow queries, connection issues, and performance bottlenecks
• Perform regular health checks, maintenance, and system optimization
• Ensure secure access, role management, and compliance with data policies
• Maintain documentation, standards, and operational runbooks
🎓 Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience as a Database Administrator
• Certifications in MongoDB, SQL Server, or Cloud platforms (preferred, not mandatory)
