𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰
We are seeking a skilled MongoDB Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and
optimize our MongoDB environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience
with MongoDB Atlas, clustering, and database performance tuning, along with a strong
understanding of NoSQL databases and cloud platforms.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
• Manage and maintain MongoDB databases using MongoDB Atlas
• Implement and manage clustering and sharding strategies for scalability
• Perform routine database maintenance tasks including backups, indexing, and
optimization
• Monitor database performance to ensure high availability and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently
• Assist in database design, including schema and indexing strategies
• Ensure data security and implement robust recovery plans
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize queries and improve performance
• Maintain proper documentation of database environments and processes
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas (Mandatory)
• Strong experience in clustering and sharding
• Solid understanding of database performance tuning and monitoring
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments
• Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and security best practices
• Familiarity with other NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
