Investigations Editor

Overview Founded in 1999, Mongabay is an award-winning environmental science and conservation news platform. We are looking for an experienced Investigations Editor to lead our investigative reporting efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying high-impact stories, managing investigative reporting projects, and working closely with our global network of journalists to uncover critical environmental issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in investigative journalism, a deep understanding of environmental and conservation topics, and the ability to mentor and guide our reporting team.

Mongabay seeks to raise interest in and appreciation of wild lands and wildlife, while examining the impact of emerging trends in climate, technology, economics,and finance on conservation and development.
