Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Odoo Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in software development. The ideal candidate is proficient in Python, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, PHP, and has a strong understanding of Odoo framework, specifically in ERP modules tailored for Manufacturing and Retail. You will strategize, design, develop, test, and support comprehensive ERP solutions, significantly contributing to the company's growth and our clients' operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement Odoo ERP modules, including Manufacturing (MRP), Inventory, Quality, PLM, Purchase, Sales, Accounting, CRM, Workflows, Report Engine, BI, AI integrations, Point of Sale (POS), eCommerce, and Warehouse Management.
• Collaborate effectively using GitHub and contribute actively to community-driven development.
• Integrate ERP solutions with IoT devices such as machinery sensors, barcode scanners, and measurement instruments.
• Conduct and oversee code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Provide training and comprehensive documentation to clients and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery within set timelines.
Technical Requirements:
• Programming: Python, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, PHP
• Database: PostgreSQL with Object-Relational Mapping
• Version Control: Git (GitHub)
• Development Model: Open-source collaboration
• ERP Framework: Odoo (CRM, Workflows, Report Engine, BI, AI)
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Odoo development and implementation experience.
• Proficiency in Odoo ERP modules, specifically for Manufacturing and Retail industries.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Odoo Developer or Implementation Specialist.
• Experience with cloud-based ERP deployments (Odoo.sh, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as ClickUp or Jira.
