About the role:

The roles are starting on a 12-month contract initially with a view to permanent employment within the contract period.


The Customer Services officer is responsible for ensuring the completion of Deceased Estates with adherence to Risk & Compliance requirements. This includes engaging internal and external stakeholders and collaborating closely with peers



  • Location: Full-time in the office (Melbourne CBD) for the training period, and then will move to a Hybrid model (3 days pw in the office, including mandatory Thursday's)
  • Rate: $43.71 p/h incl. Super
  • Work Pattern: Full-time role - Monday to Friday - Working on a roster between 8 am and 6 pm.
  • Start Dates: Multiple start dates available from June 2025.
  • Duration: 12-month contract - View to go permanent at any time within the 12-month period.


Duties:

  • Processing documents and updating customers' accounts with relevant information.
  • Outbound calls - (Solicitors, Executors, and the Australian Branch Network) Guide executors through the requirements to finalise an estate.


Skills & Experience required:

  • A background in Customer Service, Retail, or relevant field.
  • Proven ability to understand and empathise with customers, ensuring their concerns are addressed with sensitivity and care.
  • Experience with dealing with stressful or challenging situations.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work as a team player.
  • Dedicated and reliable.
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills.
