Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Molecular Technician to join our growing team in Kochi for a full-time, on-site role. The Molecular Technician will perform molecular diagnostic testing, including sample preparation, nucleic acid extraction, PCR setup, and result reporting. Responsibilities include maintaining strict adherence to laboratory protocols, quality control measures, and regulatory compliance standards. The role will also involve maintaining laboratory equipment, monitoring inventory, and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Expertise in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, nucleic acid extraction, and real-time PCR
- Proficiency in quality control procedures, documentation, and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret diagnostic results
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment maintenance and inventory management
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related field
- Prior experience in a molecular diagnostic lab or clinical laboratory is an advantage
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment
