Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Molding Manager. The Molding Manager will oversee the mold management process, including designing, developing, and maintaining molds as per project requirements. The manager will be responsible for ensuring high-quality production standards, monitoring workflow, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain efficient operations. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting and resolving production issues, managing vendor relationships, and supporting value engineering initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Mold Design, Mold Development, and Mold Maintenance processes
- Experience in Value Engineering, Product Development, and Process Optimization
- Competency in Quality Assurance, Troubleshooting, and ensuring production efficiency
- Excellent Vendor Management and Supply Chain Management skills
- Proficiency with relevant technical tools, machinery, and industry software
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Prior experience in the packaging or manufacturing industry is a plus
