The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily restaurant operations, leading staff, maintaining high food quality and safety standards, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local health regulations.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members.
- Create employee schedules and manage labor costs.
- Coach staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives fast, friendly service.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Build strong relationships with the local community.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management experience (3 years preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with scheduling, hiring, and team development.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
