Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled VEEVA CRM and Salesforce Developer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of VEEVA CRM and Salesforce applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality to support our business operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance VEEVA CRM and Salesforce applications based on business requirements.
- Provide day-to-day operational support for existing CRM platforms, including issue triage, bug fixes, and minor enhancements.
- Act as first and second level support for users, ensuring business continuity for sales, medical, and back-office operations.
- Manage incident, problem, and change requests, prioritizing urgent business needs during transition periods.
- Maintain and support existing integrations, data flows, and user access across legacy CRM systems.
- Serve as a knowledge bridge between legacy CRM platforms and the future-state CRM project team.
- Provide functional and technical input to the implementation team on current-state processes, configurations, and known limitations.
- Support critical releases, compliance fixes, and regulatory updates required on legacy platforms.
- Document current-state configurations, customizations, and operational processes to support future migration and decommissioning.
- Coordinate with vendors, managed service providers, and internal IT teams to resolve platform issues efficiently.
Mandatory Skills
- Minimum of a bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 5-8 years of experience supporting CRM platforms, specifically Veeva and Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of core CRM business processes (cycle plans, sample management, events, time off territory, CLM, medical, call reporting, etc.).
- Experience in regulated industries, preferably pharma/life sciences.
- Proficiency in incident management, change management, and release support.
- Ability to analyze defects and translate business issues into actionable technical requirements.
- Strong communication skills to interface with business users, IT teams, and vendors.
- Structured and detail-oriented, with strong documentation and knowledge-transfer skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with data modelling, integrations, and user access/security models in CRM platforms.
- Ability to operate under pressure and manage competing priorities in a transition environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to support both run-the-business and change-the-business activities.
- Salesforce consultant is a plus.
