Application Support Engineer - BigCommerce (L2/L3)
Role Summary
This role provides L2/L3 production support for Client's B2B eCommerce platform built on BigCommerce, tightly integrated with Infor LN ERP, ION data flows, and custom AWS Lambda services. The engineer will be responsible for end-to-end incident resolution, integration troubleshooting, and operational continuity of the BigCommerce ecosystem in a managed services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 production support for BigCommerce B2B storefronts
- Act as primary support owner for order, customer, pricing, and address-related issues
- Troubleshoot REST API and webhook-based integrations between BigCommerce and Infor LN
- Analyze and resolve failures across Infor ION data flows, BOD triggers, and custom API endpoints
- Support and monitor AWS Lambda functions, logs, and error handling
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring integration and data sync issues
- Support manual recovery activities such as:
- Re-publishing BODs
- Validating API payloads
- Reprocessing failed orders or customer syncs
- Administer BigCommerce (users, roles, B2B customers, addresses)
- Coordinate with business users, ERP teams, and integration partners during incident resolution
- Work within ITSM / AMS processes (incidents, service requests, problem records)
Required Skills
- Hands-on BigCommerce support experience (not only development)
- Strong understanding of eCommerce order lifecycles
- Experience troubleshooting REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON payloads
- ERP integration exposure (Infor LN, Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Production support mindset (incident-driven, SLA-focused)
- Working knowledge of SQL / data validation
- Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, logs ? support level)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in B2B commerce
- Exposure to Infor ION / ERP BOD integrations
- Prior L2/L3 AMS or support-tower experience
