ROLE SUMMARY
A qualified engineering professional with a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering and 5-10 years of Oil & Gas experience, specializing in SP3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. Skilled in 2D/3D modeling, modular design, transport drawings, weight control, COG extraction, and interpreting engineering specifications. Experienced in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Experienced in modular yard fabrication. Possesses strong communication abilities, with a commitment to delivering assigned tasks efficiently, within time and cost constraints, while continuously improving technical skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hands-on proficiency in SP3D, Autocad, and Microstation for detailed design and modeling activities.
- Experienced in Piping/Civil 3D modeling, ensuring accurate and efficient design deliverables Preparation of modular plot plans and sketches to support project planning and execution. Development of modular transport drawings to ensure modules are designed for safe, efficient transport and on‑site assembly.
- Creation of volumes and advanced 3D modeling in SP3D as required
- Extraction of Center of Gravity (COG) from SP3D/S3D, along with providing alternative technical solutions when necessary.
- Strong capability in interpreting and producing 2D and 3D drawings across engineering disciplines.
- Continuous improvement of workflows and skills to optimize repetitive and high-volume tasks. Review of drawings from other disciplines and suppliers to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with project standards
TECHNICAL SKILL
- A recognized degree in civil/mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 5-10 years in oil & gas working experience in SP3D software with smart working and knowledge of latest technique is mandatory.
- Proficient in 2D design tools, including AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Comprehensive understanding of modular project workflows, including construction methodologies, modular fabrication practices, and transport logistics.
- Responsible for delivering assigned tasks within specified timelines and budget constraints while maintaining quality standards.
- Good Communication skills capable of conveying information clearly to team members and supervisors.
