Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram for a Modern Trade Sales Manager in the FMCG sector. The incumbent will spearhead trade sales, ensuring strong relationships with modern retail chains and key accounts while driving revenue growth. Responsibilities include identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities, managing customer relationships, leading sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and analyzing market trends to optimize business performance. The role also involves training and managing a sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Trade Sales and Sales Management, with a strong track record of achieving targets
- Experience in Customer Service, maintaining client relationships, and addressing queries to ensure satisfaction
- Strong skills in Sales and Business Development, including identifying opportunities and planning strategies
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication abilities
- Prior experience in the FMCG sector will be an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and achieve on-ground results
