Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Model Validation/MRM Senior Consultant, based in Bengaluru. The role involves conducting in-depth validation of quantitative models, developing model validation frameworks, and preparing comprehensive validation reports. The Senior Consultant will analyze model development processes, identify potential model risks, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and contributions to the continuous evolution of model risk management practices will be essential.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Model Validation, Statistical Modeling, and Financial Modeling
- Proficiency in Risk Management, Governance, and regulatory compliance standards
- Advanced skills in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SAS)
- Knowledge of Financial Services, Credit Risk, and Market Risk domains
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in cross-functional teams and work in a collaborative on-site environment
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Finance
- Relevant certifications such as FRM, CFA, or certifications in Data Science are a strong advantage
