We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Engineer with 5+ years of experience to drive the development of high-performance, hardware-integrated mobile applications. This role is designed for a developer who excels at bridging the gap between web technologies and native mobile capabilities to create seamless, enterprise-grade user experiences.
The successful candidate will lead the technical execution of complex mobile products, integrating advanced device sensors and real-time data processing to solve sophisticated technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Cross-Platform Development: Architect and develop high-fidelity mobile applications for iOS and Android using Angular with Capacitor.
- Hardware & Sensor Integration: Implement and optimize the use of native hardware APIs, including spatial sensors (LiDAR), AR toolkits, and camera-based functionalities.
- Data & API Integration: Collaborate with backend and data teams to integrate complex data models, cloud-native services, and third-party enterprise systems.
- High-Fidelity UI/UX: Translate sophisticated design prototypes into fluid, intuitive mobile interfaces with a focus on performance optimization and high-quality transitions.
- Technical Leadership: Participate in the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment, ensuring code quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
- Deployment Management: Manage the end-to-end app lifecycle, from local development and internal testing to final submission on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Technical Requirements
- Professional Experience: 5+ years in software development, with at least 3+ years focused specifically on hybrid mobile applications.
- Core Frameworks: Expert-level proficiency in Angular (latest versions) and TypeScript.
- Mobile Stack: Extensive experience with Capacitor for wrapping web code into native mobile environments.
- Advanced Features: Proven experience with ARKit, LiDAR, or similar spatial/hardware-based integrations is highly crucial.
- Backend Connectivity: Strong experience integrating with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and cloud-native/serverless architectures.
- Platform Knowledge: In-depth understanding of iOS and Android ecosystems, including platform-specific UI guidelines and performance tuning.
- Modern Tooling: Advanced proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile-specific debugging tools.
- State Management/Testing: Experience with modern state management libraries (e.g., NgRx) and specific testing frameworks (e.g., Jest/Cypress) is highly preferred for managing large-scale, complex application state and ensuring high test coverage.
- Security/Native Bridge: Given the advanced hardware integration, preference for candidates with experience in secure local storage and proficiency in native-code bridging (Kotlin/Swift) to extend web capabilities into deep device APIs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building "offline-first" mobile applications for professional field use.
- Background in integrating Computer Vision or Machine Learning outputs into mobile user interfaces.
- Strong UI/UX sensibility with an eye for detail in animations and interactive elements.
- A proven track record of shipping and maintaining live applications in major app stores.
