HR / Talent Development Intern
Culture & Growth Team
Position Summary
The HR / Talent Development Intern will get hands-on experience supporting real people, talent, and culture projects across MCA. This role will help improve the employee experience through projects tied to onboarding, recruiting tools, leadership development, retention, and employee engagement.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is curious about Human Resources, enjoys organizing information, wants to learn how a business supports its people, and likes turning ideas into practical tools that managers and employees can actually use. The internship plan includes onboarding improvement, sales role profiles, recruiting support tools, leadership development, retention planning, and engagement support.
What You Will Do
Improve Onboarding
Help make the new hire experience easier and more consistent.
You will help:
- Review onboarding emails, checklists, and process steps
- Update new hire and manager resources
- Find ways to make onboarding clearer and easier
- Explore how learning tools, emails, and texts can support onboarding
Support Recruiting and Sales Talent Tools
Help MCA create better tools for hiring and developing sales talent.
You will help:
- Organize sales role profiles
- Document what good performance looks like
- Support interview guides and candidate tools
- Help connect sales roles to onboarding and career paths
Support Leadership and Retention Work
Help support leaders and talent planning across the business.
You will help:
- Organize talent and 9-Box information
- Support retention and development planning
- Help prepare materials for leader discussions
- Summarize feedback from meetings or roundtables
Build Simple Tools the Team Can Use
Help turn ideas into practical resources.
You may help create:
- Onboarding checklists
- Communication templates
- Sales profile summaries
- Interview guides
- Team meeting summaries
- A final presentation with key takeaways and next steps
What You Will Gain

Internship Length
This is an 8+ week summer internship with the Culture & Growth Team.
Reporting Structure
This role will report to the Culture & Growth Team and work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, business leaders, Central Operations, and Marketing / Internal Communications.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have the ability to travel as needed. (Less than 10%)
