Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Mobile Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Sales Engineer to drive business development, client engagement, and technical sales for our portable and containerized energy storage solutions.
The ideal candidate will combine engineering knowledge with strong sales ability to support customers in sectors such as:
- Utilities & Renewable Energy
- Construction & Infrastructure
- Telecom
- Mining & Oil & Gas
- Events & Temporary Power
- EV Charging Infrastructure
- Remote & Off-Grid Projects
This role plays a critical part in expanding our Mobile Battery Energy Storage System units & Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) business model across regional and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for mobile BESS solutions.
- Generate leads and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Build relationships with EPC contractors, utilities, telecom companies, and industrial clients.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Technical Consultation
- Understand customer energy requirements and design suitable BESS solutions.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
- Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Support clients with ROI analysis, cost savings, and performance calculations.
- Coordinate with engineering teams for customized solutions.
Project Support
- Assist in project planning and deployment coordination.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
- Ensure customer satisfaction during commissioning and handover.
- Collaborate with operations and service teams.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends in energy storage, renewables, and mobile power solutions.
- Analyze competitor products and pricing strategies.
- Identify new market segments and partnership opportunities.
Technical Scope Knowledge (Preferred)
Candidates should have familiarity with:
- Lithium-ion battery systems (LFP / NMC)
- Battery Management Systems (BMS)
- Inverters & Power Conversion Systems (PCS)
- Hybrid energy systems (solar + battery + generator)
- Micro grid architecture
- Containerized energy storage solutions
- EV charging integration
- Grid connection standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Renewable Energy Engineering
- Power Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering (with energy experience)
Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience Requirements
- 1–5 years and above experience in:
- Energy storage systems
- Solar / renewable energy sales
- Power systems engineering
- Industrial equipment sales
- Generator or UPS solutions
Experience in BESS or micro grid projects is highly preferred.
